Unfortunately Wexford Off Road had to make the call to cancel Round 1 of the Irish Championship this weekend.
A massive amount of work went into trying to get this event to run, but with heavy rain forecast for Sunday and the track and paddock already extremely wet, it just isn’t possible to do so safely.
This wasn’t an easy decision and we know it’s disappointing, but rider, official and spectator safety has to come first.
All entries will be fully refunded.Thanks to everyone for their understanding and support. We’ll update you soon with news on rescheduling and the rest of the championship.
