At the Motorcycle Ireland directors’ meeting on the 13th of February 2026, Paul Power, Convenor of Road Racing, confirmed and presented the Road Racing calendar for the 2026 season. As shown in the attached schedule, West Cork will host a drag race, while four real road races will be run by the Kells, Loughshinny, Fore, and South West Road Racing Clubs. In addition, the Faugheen 50 Supporters Club will run a sprint event in July.
Overall, this is very positive news for the road racing scene and points to a strong and exciting 2026 season ahead.
